Photographer’s notes: Armadillo World Headquarters demolition. 1981. Austin, Texas. Someday, future Austinites will wonder why we didn't save the birthplace of the thriving Austin, Texas music scene. They saved the Alamo, after all, and they LOST that battle... I'll never understand why we didn't save the Armadillo - the starting place of so much good.
You can add framing to your print purchase if needed, or simply order the print unframed. Our framing service is provided by a reputable, local professional custom framer here in Austin. Prints are framed in a classic museum-style frame using archival techniques. This consists of a 3" white matt, plain black wood surround, and conservation clear, UV-protected glass. Upgrade to non-glare museum glass for an additional fee.
