Ann Richards in Downtown Austin by Scott Newton
Ann Richards by photographer Scott Newton walking in downtown Austin, Texas.
Available for the first time as a signed, limited edition photographic print
Scott recalls: “In ’82 I was hired to do a shoot with Ann Richards, then a Travis County Commissioner. She was running for Texas State Treasurer and needed images. She was a marvelous person, funny, smart, friendly, and thoroughly Texas in every way. She had the slowest, thickest drawl coupled with the quickest wit I’d ever experienced. She was a delight. This was before she was Governor.
You can add framing to your print purchase if needed, or simply order the print unframed. Our framing service is provided by a reputable, local professional custom framer here in Austin. Prints are framed in a classic museum-style frame using archival techniques. This consists of a 3" white matt, plain black wood surround, and conservation clear, UV-protected glass. Upgrade to non-glare museum glass for an additional fee.
