Photographer’s notes:
“This image was taken at the Rock Against Racism Carnival, Victoria Park, London in April 1978. It was incredibly difficult to get any shots at all of The Clash at the gig as their then manager, Bernie Rhodes, made sure that his film crew had the only access to the stage so I only managed to get a few shots secretly from the side at the back of the stage before getting ejected.”
Edition 100 - This print is signed by photographer Syd Shelton, and hand numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
