Stevie Ray Vaughan Indian Headdress by Tracy Anne Hart
Stevie Ray Vaughan Indian Headdress by Tracy Anne Hart
Stevie Ray Vaughan wearing a headdress on stage by Tracy Anne Hart, taken at the Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston Texas, January 1987.
Photographer's notes: "He’s playing “Pride and Joy” here in a headdress his brother Jimmie Vaughan gave him. I’ve always printed this image with a slight warm tone, and it was the first shot I ever printed digitally. The combination of the tone and Somerset Velvet substrate was my homage to Edward S Curtis Native American Photogravures. Photographers such as Curtis and my father, Leonard M. Hart are as much an influence to me and my style as Albert King and his brother Jimmie were to Stevie."
