Photographer’s Notes:
“Pink Floyd relaxed at Abbey Road Studios whilst recording their debut album 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' in June of 1967. At the time, Record Mirror reviewed the album: 'The psychedelic image of the group really comes to life, record-wise, on this LP which is a fine showcase for both their talent and the recording technique. Plenty of mind-blowing sound, both blatant and subtle here, and the whole thing is extremely well performed’.”
This photograph is currently on display at the V&A's 'Their Mortal Remains' Pink Floyd exhibition in London.
