David Bowie shaving by photographer Bruce Malone
David Bowie shaving by photographer Bruce Malone
Signed limited edition, fine art photograph of David Bowie shaving, taken in 1989 by Bruce Malone.
Photographers notes: " I was asked by David to document a few "new looks" of his facial hair during a Tin Machine photo shoot in Los Angeles in 1989. He had a full beard and wanted to see what it would look like as he shaved parts of it off, I had the camera set up to shoot Polaroids so that he could have them hot off the press. As he went back to the mirror to shave each segment away I clicked this picture, it is by far one of my favorite moments I have captured on film. Luckily I was shooting 665 Polaroid which has a negative!"
