Photographer’s notes: This was taken at Bob Marley’s last London show at Crystal Palace Bowl, although at this time few people knew that he was ill. The only way to get close to the stage was to wade into the waist deep water with my camera, lens and a few rolls of film in a plastic shopping bag. Bob Marley was one of those few people that it was almost impossible to take a bad photo of. His charisma always seems to shine so brightly.
